Antennas

My mobile shack has four antenna mounts. I use several whip antennas depending on situations. Diamond Antenna model MD series HF antenna is mounted on a front louver.
I rasped the coating of the front louver and wrap it up in aluminum foil for ground.
I took this measures to use 2m long high quality whip antenna, because height restriction of vehicles is provided as less than 3.6m high under the Japanese law.
When I found a small hole of the floor, I was very glad.
At first I bought only two antenna coils for 40m and 15m band. I added other band's coils one by one. Now I can operate from 10 through 80m band including WARC bands.
I usually mount 6m band short whip antenna on the roof of the driver's seat side (right side in Japan). HF antenna is also available to set up this mount. This is a short whip antenna for 2m and 70cm band set on the roof of the assistant driver's seat side(left side in Japan). When I park my car for a long time, I mount long one.

This is a whip antenna for 1.2GHz set on the roof carrier.
